Craig S. Atwood, Ph.D. has 20 years of experience in the development of diagnostic and prognostic markers of disease. Using various cohorts including the Wisconsin Longitudinal Study, his research utilizing advanced analytics including machine learning has identified both genetic and environmental factors that increase risk for Alzheimer’s disease, heart disease and depression. In addition to his extensive experience with basic and clinical research, Dr. Atwood has operated a CLIA approved diagnostic laboratory at UW-Madison for subject testing. He has additional experience in capital formation (private, foundation, government, IPO’s); intellectual property; contract negotiations; management; and the IND/FDA regulatory environment.
Victor Mohoney is an entrepreneur with over 40 years’ experience in capital formation. He is the founder of Manitou Consulting Services, LLC and Tumalo Holdings, LLC and has formed numerous other startup companies. Mr. Mohoney has a degree in architecture and maintains several U.S. patents in his name. He is directly responsible for more than $500M in debt and equity capital formation from private, accredited investors and contributes time to the JangoBio management team giving valuable feedback on critical path and strategic planning initiatives. Mr. Mohoney continues to attract valuable capital resources from his investor network to help fund JangoBio, LLC in its initial growth stages.
Liana Loos-Austin, M.S. trained in cellular and molecular biology and started her career at a biotechnology company doing technical services prior to transitioning to sales and marketing over the last 30 years. Before joining the JangoBio group of companies, her most recent position was the Marketing Director at partnered companies focusing on direct-to-consumer and business-to-business e-commerce. Her diverse skill set includes technical support of biotech products, product distribution, purchasing, social media marketing, and website development.
Michael Foley, M.D. is a board-certified emergency physician with 24+ years of clinical emergency medicine experience and 15+ years of healthcare leadership. He is the President & CEO of Madison Emergency Physicians, S.C., an independent, private practice group with over 100 clinical providers. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine & Public Health and did his emergency medicine residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Foley continues to work clinical shifts in the emergency department and focuses administratively on leadership development, strategic growth and organizational health.
Matt Lazio, M.D. is a board-certified emergency physician.
